Hundreds of reasons to choose Total Paving Solutions.

“Edward, Myles and the team did a complete redesign of our driveway, patio and garden steps. The work was fully explained and reasonably costed and the end result is exactly as described. The team were polite and hard working and always tidied up at the end of the day. We were so happy with the work we're getting them back to do some extra work elsewhere in the garden.”

“We are really pleased with the work Total Paving Solutions did for us! Right from the initial quote stage, Edward and his team have been courteous, prompt and have been a real pleasure to deal with. They installed a new driveway, redid the steps up to our front door, and gave the front garden a lovely refresh. Edward came up with a design that we hadn’t really thought about and we were very happy to go ahead with his professional recommendations. The team worked really hard throughout the project, even during the recent heatwave, putting in some long days to ensure the job went really smoothly from start to finish. A massive thank you to Edward and the team for such a fantastic job and we would highly recommend to anyone else who would be considering similar projects.”

“After another local landscape company let us down and left a mess of the new patio, Edward and his team stepped in and sorted the slabs, laying them properly with foundations that will last many a year. This also included a retaining wall rather than the original sleepers. I cannot recommend him and his team highly enough. Hard working, skilled and always leave a tidy worksite. Many Thanks.”

“Edward, Myles and their team landscaped my back garden. It is everything I wanted, from the paving and fencing, to the garden-shaping and re-lawning. Everything was completed to a high standard, using really good quality materials and turf. Nothing was too much trouble for them, even if a little tweak to the original plan was needed here and there. At each stage, they were keen to ensure that I was completely happy with their work. They cleaned up after themselves and finished each job properly. I was so happy with the outcome, that I had my front drive re-paved as well. I can definitely recommend Total Paving Solutions for a job like mine.”

“Very impressed with the new drive. Edward and his team were excellent. Hard working, polite and kept it all neat and tidy. A bit dubious to start as had a drive on different levels and slopes but Edward reassured me he could do a great job and he certainly did not disappoint. Would highly recommend these guys, they will do a great job for you.”

“I can’t thank Edd and the rest of the team enough for the quality work they’ve done. Not only did they deliver a great finish, but Edd also helped massively with the design, making sure everything turned out exactly how I wanted. Any questions I had were always answered & communication throughout was spot on. I genuinely can’t fault the service from start to finish. Highly recommend!”

“Really can't thank Edward and his team at Total Paving Solutions enough for the excellent job they have done replacing and upgrading my mum's block paving driveway. From start to finish they have been really friendly, approachable and responsive to all our queries and requests, particularly that of sloping the driveway up to the front door to aid my mum's mobility . During the actual driveway replacement they worked efficiently and professionally, and took great care and time to ensure that everything was just right for my mum before they finished. We are extremely pleased with the end result and would highly recommend this company.”

“What an amazing job these guys did. Couldn’t fault a thing and they couldn’t do enough to ensure everything was spot on. They went above and beyond what was expected and we couldn’t be happier, so much so that a family member is getting theirs done too! The driveway looks amazing and has had some very nice comments!. Couldn’t recommend Edward and his team enough thank you 10/10”

“Total Paving Solutions undertook a relatively large project for us including a new larger driveway, 2 patios, new ACO drains, new walls & steps, a composite gate and a new fence. Edward, Myles & their team were extremely hard-working, sometimes during difficult weather, but always remained positive and courteous. With any large Project, inevitable issues arose but Edward & Miles were always available with options whilst considerate of our wishes, overcoming all problems encountered. We found their quote to be good value for money and they delivered on everything they said they would. We would recommend anyone to contact them when thinking of upgrading their outdoor areas. A big thank you to Edward, Myles and their team for completing an amazing job for us to such a high standard.”

“Exceptionally pleased about the work Edward and his team from Total Paving Solutions have done at my property. From providing a good and fair price for the work, to the clean up at the end of each day, via the professional, polite and friendly service from all the team, I have been 100% satisfied! The work included extending the patio at the rear of the house, cladding the steps with matching stonework to the patio, re-pointing all the original paving slabs as well as the new ones. Thoroughly recommended!!!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent workmanship and outstanding service Total Paving have just completed our driveway, turning a single space into a double on a very steep pitch, and the quality of their work is exceptional. They handled every challenge with real skill, especially creating a completely step‑free layout for my elderly in‑laws despite difficult existing levels. The driveway now flows perfectly and is safe, accessible, and beautifully finished. They also took great care to ensure the gradients worked for our low‑profile vehicles, going above and beyond to get every detail right. Their work ethic is second to none—tireless, professional, and genuinely committed to doing the job properly. What really sets them apart is their integrity. They didn’t take a penny until the work was fully completed and I was completely satisfied. It’s rare to find a company whose standards and pride in their work outweigh profit. I would recommend Total Paving to anyone looking for reliable, honest tradespeople and top‑quality workmanship. An incredible service from start to finish.”

“Had my driveway done by Total Paving Solutions and couldn’t be happier with the result. They did a brilliant job with the block paving — everything looks neat, tidy, and really well finished. The team were quick, professional, and the price was very reasonable for the quality of work. They got everything done efficiently without cutting corners, which I really appreciated. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. Would definitely recommend.”

“Edward and the team did a great job in my garden creating a path and steps to match my existing set. They even worked around my schedule which I was really grateful for. Edward in particular was polite and very considerate every time we spoke which really makes a difference when welcoming people into your home. Thanks again guys!”

“Edward and his team have been professional, friendly, prompt and extremely tidy throughout the work that has been carried out. Always keeps me up to date on the next steps and when asked for advice he gave it without over selling it. I cannot recommend Total Paving Solutions highly enough. He didn’t want any money upfront as he wants to make sure I’m happy with the end result. A price was agreed on and no hidden or extra costs were added. A real pleasure to have proper men doing a proper job in an honest and decent fashion!”

“Ed and his team have been phenomenal from start to finish! From first making contact with Ed, he has kept amazing communication throughout with any questions we had and helped us with professional advice. He and his team were extremely hard working with amazing attention to detail! I’d highly recommend him and his team!”

“Amazing workmanship! We had a section of grass removed and replaced with bricks. They suggested to replace a section that would’ve created a harsh colour change, and use those bricks to blend the two parts of the driveway together which they did extremely well. Worked very efficiently to a high standard and even came back to replace a couple of bricks that weren’t perfect for us. Excellent, we would definitely hire them again!”

“Edward and his team have replaced the old concrete and slabs on our porch and patio area with natural stone… a great result! They’ve worked long hours making the best of difficult weather conditions and have still managed to keep smiling , answer questions and keep us informed about how the work would progress. They have respected our property and always left it secure.. many thanks.”

“Edward, Myles and the team at Total Paving Solutions have been brilliant. Our patio project became delayed due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, and the atrocious weather this winter. However, Edward has stayed in constant contact, very apologetic over the lack of progress to complete our job. Finally a break in the clouds allowed them to work furiously, and the patio is now finished and looks amazing. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Edward and his hard working team.”

“Professional, organised and efficient. I’m so pleased with the result. Highly recommend and would happily use again. It rained every day for weeks, but the moment a dry day was forecast Edward and his team arrived bright and early, ready to go. He also kept in touch while the weather delayed the start, which I really appreciated.”

“Edward and his team have delivered a really good product despite the recent terrible weather and conditions. Completion was later than expected but his team managed to progress the work once the conditions were right rather than rush to completion at the expense of the final finish. Friendly, honest, collaborative and competitive.”

“Just had our driveway done and it looks amazing. Edward and his team worked really hard, turned up when they said they would and cleaned everything up after themselves each day. You can tell they care about the job — all the edges and patterns are spot on. Big difference to the house and we’ve already had neighbours asking who did it. Happy to recommend!”

“Edward, Myles and the whole team were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. They did my driveway and a brick wall and the quality of the work is outstanding. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they worked incredibly hard despite the weather being absolutely atrocious. I’d read other Google reviews before choosing them, and I can honestly say they did not disappoint in any way. Professional, friendly, hardworking and reliable — they deserve a whole galaxy of stars, not just five. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.”

“I recently had my driveway renewed by Edward and his team, and the final result is stunning! I didn't think it was possible to smile so much looking at a driveway. Before, I had a large front garden with a tiny drive. I could not park my car because the garden was at a different elevation to the tiny driveway I had. This meant I had to park on street and compete with neighbours to park outside my home. I decided to contact Edward from Total Paving Solutions to get a quote along with other rivals. I proceeded with Total Paving Solutions because Edward was calm, respectful and understanding of my requirements. Rivals spoke to me in a condescending tone, while charging same (or higher) rates! Proceeding with Total Paving Solutions was not a difficult choice to make. After agreeing to proceed, work began just a couple of days later. Edward & team worked extremely hard on the driveway to get the renovation completed fast, while enuring the highest quality work. Throughout the works, any requests or concerns I had were addressed and resolved quickly. The end result is a beautiful driveway which I can use to park my car. Due to the size of my driveway, any family, friends can park in my drive without worrying about on street parking too. I am happy with the final result. If you are looking to renew your driveway I can confidently reccomend proceeding with Total Paving Solutions.”

“I can’t recommend Edward and his team at Total Paving Solutions highly enough. They’ve done a fantastic job transforming my back garden with a beautiful herringbone brick layout, finished perfectly with a smart black border that really makes it pop. The lads worked incredibly hard from start to finish — digging out the old concrete slab, preparing the ground properly, and taking real care with every stage of the build. You can tell they take pride in their work, and it shows in the final result. Great workmanship, great attitude, and a cracking end product. I’m absolutely delighted with how it’s turned out and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Total Paving Solutions to anyone considering similar work. Regards, Dave – Plymouth”

“We are really pleased with the wall and the overall service we received. The team provided fast, efficient work and were incredibly friendly throughout the process. A huge plus was how well they cleaned up after themselves once the job was finished; you wouldn't even know they'd been there! Highly recommend their professional and tidy approach.”

“e’ve recently had Edward and his team repair and lay a new driveway and build a wall following a haulage company ruining it. They were here whenever they could be to get it completed for us despite their busy diary. The one thing that Edward did that stood out was communicate, not just by phone but physically would come over to explain something. For me the communication was wonderful, there aren’t many tradesman that have any form of communication skills! We are so pleased with the work, it was priced so competitively, the work that they did we are astonished with the price and so are all of our friends. He even sourced a manhole cover that we were having trouble obtaining. Edward’s back shorty to lay some slabs for us also and we can’t wait. Edward, Dad & Team thank you so much!”

“Finding a company that do what they say and give good advice is hard these days, is their advice to get you to spend more money or is it for your benefit. I had no pre conceived ideas about this company, just photos on line and I took a chance, I chose right a family company that cares, Myles & Edward turned up on time and along with their team grafted non stop in all weathers that they were able prepare and lay my new patio, paths and fences. I took on board their advice and we changed a few things, I'm so glad I did, end result is way beyond my expectations. Very highly recommend this company.”

“We made an excellent choice and highly recommend Edward, Myles and their team. They laid a new brick drive and retaining wall for our house and replaced our old gravel paths while having to contend with the weather of late 2025 - the results look great. They're experts. They're also a great pleasure to deal with, always polite, and always responding to the little points which inevitably come up in this sort of project.”

Edward was very professional and had experienced in the services he provided, he and his team were very clean, tidy and very precise in the works carried out. Edward has been helpful throughout and fully supportive, even going the extra mile to remove rubble for me. I am very happy to recommend and look forward to having further work done in future.”

“Absolutely great bunch of lads, can honestly say nothing bad about them. Really polite, work harder than any tradesmen I have ever met and they're very polite. From the original query, to the job being done they were great. We had quite a big job with our driveway and they were non stop, they keep you in the loop with what's going on and fix any problems they come across along the way. They even worked Saturday and Sunday which we absolutely did not expect from them. If I could give 10 stars I would. Highly highly recommend and will 100% use them again if we ever need to. Added photos of the before and after.”

“This company repaved my patio and those similar ones of my neighbours. Our front garden was falling apart and it needed a complete renovation so we thought to contact Edward and the team to see if they can do our garden. We wanted complete tiling and wanted something that we didn’t need to keep on top of it. Edward is the most polite and friendly person and explained everything what they were going to do. He really kept us in the loop with what was happening etc. Edward is a great communicator and honest person. We would highly recommend Edward and his team they did a fabulous job. Thank you so much to Edward and the team you guys have worked so hard and made our garden beautiful again.”

“Fantastic family, who run their business totally focused on mak8ng the customer happy. Had about 30 square metres of patio laid by them. I had cleared the bushes but was left with ground that was too high, uneven and needed a sewer revamp. They came, quoted a fair price and sorted it all. Well done guys and I recommend you at least get them to talk to you, and then give them your job. All I had to do was make the tea. Cheers guys.”

“A big thank you to Edward and the team for their all their hard work on a really tricky sloping site. The team have been incredibly patient, professional and attentive with the design and and work throughout, from the drainage on the sloping site to the final look. No question has been too big or too small and the team have worked around the clock to get everything done in good time with the weather. Even when the weather was poor before, Edward was on the phone to reassure us he was looking forward to the work and this week would be ideal conditions to get the work done. The team have also taken for the very small details so attentively from the stone chosen to jet washing the side garden and drive which wasn’t part of the work! Ed, Myles and the team worked very efficiently to remove all old material, lay the new level and professionally install a block paving driveway and matching footpath. The communication was great, workmanship faultless and they were a very friendly bunch of lads. Thanks again TPS!”

“We used Total Paving to extend the width of our driveway. This involved removing existing tarmac and digging out a section of our garden, and making a new stepway and pathway to the side of our property. Edward and his team carried out the work, and they worked tirelessly during the process. We now have a very fine block paved driveway, making access and space for our campervan and family car. We have had many comments regarding the style of the driveway choice of paver colours. To sum up, a dedicated and hard-working team and a fine end result despite the weather.”

“Brilliant! We have little experience of renewing patios and paving, so the experience, expertise and enthusiasm of Edward, John and the wider team was invaluable and very much appreciated. They did a wonderful job, reflecting their skill and experience. In our context the crazy paving option was exactly right and with John’s combination of technical expertise as well as clear elements of aesthetic and design skills has resulted in what we think is a superb outcome. Actually, I think that it should not be termed ‘crazy paving’ but more ‘design’ or ‘artistic’ paving. Many thanks indeed to all involved.”

“Edward & his team removed all the old paving slabs and replaced with new high quality slabs which has transformed the appearance of the front and rear of the house. The work has been of a very high standard and completed within the quoted timescale. Very pleasant and helpful staff. All rubbish was removed efficiently & effectively. Happy to recommend.”

“Edward and his team were really friendly and polite throughout the works. Installing a retaining wall, x2 porcelain patios and a new patch of turf, they had a rough week with the heatwave but the boys grafted and cracked on. Very happy with our finished garden. (Fencing getting done by a carpenter at a later date)”

Dedicated & hardworking, they are both incredibly knowledgeable, taking the time to answer any questions & concerns with patience & professionalism. Very competitively priced & I was also assured no payment was required until I was 100% satisfied with the completed work. This level of confidence in their work is rare, as most companies require a deposit for materials. It speaks volumes about their commitment to excellence & customer satisfaction. Highly recommend job 10/10! I don’t seem to have the option to add photos but if you check out my review on Checkatrade you will see them there.”

“Myles visited for a discussion and popped back with a range of samples and helped us with the final choice. From day one, the team were extremely punctual, professional, helpful and polite. They worked their socks off daily, putting in a hard days graft everyday, never stopping and ensuring everything was tidied away and cleaned up before they left. Myles kept us updated with progress and timescales and they stuck to these. We have never seen such a hard working team. Cannot recommend them enough, amazing end result!!”

“From the start Myles proved himself to be very helpful and willing to offer me cheaper alternatives to the work I wanted, I accepted a quote from him to supply and fit paving slabs to the existing patio and two seperate areas of the garden. I also had new fencing with concrete posts and concrete gravel boards erected in my back garden. They kept to the quote dispute some unforeseen problems and Miles, who deserves a special mention with his craftsmanship performed miracles. They were so good l have asked them to replace the fencing in my front garden that borders onto a public footpath. That work commences in two weeks time. I couldn’t rate this company highly enough, thanks Edward and your team. See you in a fortnight.”

They were polite and thoughtful and so easy to talk to you. The finished drive was amazing, a fabulous pattern and everyone has commented on how nice it is. Thank you to the whole team.”

“From start to finish Edward and his team have performed a great job on my new drive. After receiving several quotes, I gave Edward a call and on his initial visit he was the only one who gave me sound advice on what would look the best and most cost effective. The quote was very competitive and his workmanship, knowledge and keeping me up-to-date on what was happening was excellent. All the work was carried out within the quoted amount even though a few curve balls appeared. I would recommend him to any friend or family member. Thanks again!”
